I just got some new recording equipment including a Neumann mic and a super nice four channel preamp just in time to finish up the kids music recording that I've been working on with another old friend from highschool - Paul Denny. Brian Bauers and Marissa Moulder will be posting up at my place to lay down the final vocal tracks when I get back in town.

Next weekend, I fly to Rochester to play with the Rochester Philharmonic. I'll play the first have with the orchestra playing the monstrous music of Stan Kenton. The program will feature music from the original Stan Kenton book so I'm looking forward to checking out those awesome arrangements. The second half will feature Tony Desare with Ed Decker and me holding it down in the rhythm section. I think Tony will be performing some new Tedd Firth orchestra arrangements.

PRESENCE (my first CD) is now available on iTunes! It's a recording that I did with Chris Potter, Dave Stryker and Tony Moreno about 12 years ago. I thought I'd put it up for sale on the interweb. Look it up!
